The third generation Cospas-Sarsat beacon E3 is an important safety
device in the Global Maritime Distress and Safety Systems (GMDSS)
to start search and rescue activities in an emergency.
The instrument can be mounted on all types of vessels.

Organisation (IMO) A.810 (19) regulations

As soon as the EPIRB is out of the bracket and comes into contact
with water it is automatically activated.On the other hand it can be manually
released.

Each EPIRB is programmed with an individual number, which has to registered
in the country, where the yacht is flagged.
Included in delivery:
EPIRB E3 in a cradle with hydrostatic release mechanism according to
GMDSS including the programming of the individual number.
