MRD 80 Marine receiver

The MRD 80 is able to receive Navtex- messages and transform them into text ! 

Easy operation:

	The messages can be shown on a display or printed on paper.
The Sleep Timer of the MRD enables the skipper to get the up-to-date weather report and Navtex messages when coming on board after a few days break. With an active Sleep Timer the MRD 80 has a power consumption of only 5 mA.
	The weather forecast will be received or printed automatically on a certain frequency at a preset time.. Memorized forecasts can be shown on the display and printed.
Enter start-time and end time and choose a channel.For each timer you can tune in if the weather report should be printed. There are 25 timer  for the reception of weather forecasts.
	With an NMEA Interface you can receive navigational data. You can set an interval in wich position and instrument data can be recorded in a log book.
The following data can be recorded in the log book: Position, COG, SOG, speed and course to steer, wind speed and wind direction. You can watch the log book on the display or print it out.

	Optional you can assemble the MRD 80 with a baroscope module. With this module the barometric pressure can be recorded over a period of  24 or 96 hours. Rapid changes of barometric pressure are indicated by an alarm tone. (= fresh gale).  Range 935 - 1085 hPa, resolution 0,1 hPa, Accuracy 0,25%
