The automatic charger series has been especially designed for todays requirements of electric systems on yachts. They can be used in vehicles or similar applications as well. Three seperately controlled outputs enable simultaneous charging of large board systems consisting of e.g. starter-, consumer- and bow batteries. For charging, the three-step IUoU-characteristic can be adapted to rechargeable lead batteries with wet or gel like electrolytes by a switch. With external temperature sensors for each battery system the charging voltage will be adapted exactly to the battery-temperature. In this way, optimum charging results are a standard. Simultaneous charging of up to three battery systems All instruments are equipped with three seperate charging outputs. So two starter batteries and one consumer battery can be charged at the same time, or any other combination. You can adapt the characteristic charging curves to the charged batteries. The charging current will be distributed to the connected batteries. Indipendenc from line voltage Modern switching network technique enables the usage of the instrument with full power rating even with reduced line voltages. So you can operate the instruments at gangways with long feeders or with marine generators. Charging batteries and power supply of the instruments at the same

Protection modes With the built-in short circuit protection and reverse battery protection neither the battery nor the instrument can be damaged because of a wrong connection. Temperature compensated characteristic charging curve With rising temperatures the maximum charge voltage is reduced, to prevent from a dangerous gasification of the battery. Up to three temperature sensors can be connected to control three battery systems. Long life-time Specially selected material, like aluminum (AlMg3) and stainless steel (A2) provide a high durability and long life time. Easy mounting Brackets, that are mounted at the sides enable fast wall- or bottom mounting. Connections, placed outside, simplify a safe connection, even in narrow spaces. High efficiency The built-in Power-factor-correction (PFC) leads to an optimum energy efficiency. So there is a low power consumption from the 230 V-shore power and a high charging performance. No starting current power peak The soft-start prevents from high starting currents that lead to triggering fuses in the bridge connection column. Remote display FB-P (optional) The remote panel informs you about the charging status of your batteries while charging is going on. Remote panel LCM (optional) The remote panel indicates all important charging features, like voltage of all connected battery systems, the charging current or the state of charging. The charging current and various other features can be adjusted. Temperature controlled ventilator A built-in temperature control protects the instrument from overcharging or overheating. The cooler will operate only on demand. It can be switched to sleep mode ( the instrument operates with a reduced performance, so no cooler is necessary - max 8h) with the remote control panel. Error indicatot When there is an error in charging while the instrument is operating, it will be indicated at the front panel. Works with various battery systems The characteristic curve can be switched for charging Gel/AGM- or acid batteries. The use of power supply units also is possible. Currently available models :
