+ Digital Software management
The new digital software control regulates the charger even better and enables more displays as well as an error detection. At the same time the size of the battery bank is recognized automatically and also the duration of the equalizing charge.

+ Automatic temperature compensation
In the PRO-DIGITAL series the characteric charging curve will be adjusted to the battery temperature. The batteries are loaded with the optimum final charging voltage. A temperature sensor is included in delivery. 

+ Desulphation mode
Continuous operation for weeks or month can produce an acid layer and sulphation in the batteries. To avoid this, in continuous usage the instruments switch into a desulphation mode every week. This will lead to a longer lifetime of your batteries. 

+Adjustable AGM Battery type
On the european market, a new battery type will be more and more sold . These Glass Fibre Matt batteries (AGM) again need a different final charging voltage. The PRO-DIGITAL series can also run with this type of batteries. 

+ automatic charging current reduction
When overheated, most instruments switch off automatically.With the rising temperature of the charger(more than 60° C), the PRO DIGITAL Series reduces charging current first to 50% and afterwards to 25% of the maximum performance. When the case temperature reaches 70°C the instrument will switch off. 

+ Optional remote control and display
The PRO DIGITAL series can easily be extended by a remote control and a display. With the remote control you can switch on/off the instrument, the charging current can be reduced and voltage, power and other parameter are displayed. Also lots of error indicators are shown. The r.c. can be flush mount in the panel or mounted on a bracket. A mounting bracket as well as a 10m cable are included in delivery. 

These chargers, as well as the Sterling analogue chargers, can be operated worldwide. At the end of a bridge, where often a low voltage is proven, the Sterling chargers still work with an efficiency of 100%.
