The Raymarine instrument network until 2006High Speed Bus² means, that one hsb²-display can communicate with a second hsb²-display, transferring Radar-, Plotter- and Fishfinder data with only one cable. When your system works with e.g. a hsb²-Chart Plotter, all the other hsb²-instruments (Radar or Fishfinder) can also display the nav charts. You can lay Radar data over the nav charts. Also Fishfinder data can be displayed on the Radar or Chart Plotter..If you have one hsb² instrument in the system, all the other instruments have access to it and show its data Unlimited usage of the data from each display. There are no complicated adjustments or cablings necessary. Here you can see an example
When it came onto the market, the hsb²-Technologie (hsb = High Speed Bus) set new standards for the yachtsmen. HSB means, Radar-, Plotter- and Fishfinder data can be exchanged between 2 displays by just one, super-fast cable. This data transfer revolutionized yacht sailing like the Autohelm-Autopilots in the seventies or the SeaTalk-Bus for instruments in the eighties. And here is the newest technology, again from Raymarine: the new hsb². With the hsb²-connection, up to 10 Pathfinder Plus Radar-, Chart Plotter-, and Fishfinder-displays can be connected and fully integrated. Hsb² enables you to see all data of each of the 10 displays on any given display. Pathfinder Plus Radar systems, Chart Plotter and -Fishfinder exchange data simultaneously in a full screen mode, split screen mode or in the overlay technique. Certainly, all hsb²-instruments are fully SeaTalk- and NMEA-compatible, so data from your instruments, from the autopilot or GPS can be displayed without problems. Connection is easy, no matter if you have a 7/17 "- 78 cm or 10,4" - 26 cm monitor, daylight- or LCD display, colour or monochrome... hsb² transports the performance and flexibility of a modular, integrated system on board! The following instruments are available
Upgrade RAYMARINE- Pathfinder
The Chart Plotter RC520, RC 530 and RC631, as well as the Fischfinders L755RC, L760RC, L1250 and L1250RC can also supplementary be equipped with a hsb². |
